NPR Tiny Desk Concert: Raphael Saadiq

This is possibly the best perk about working at NPR. The music team hosts a "Tiny Desk" concert a few times a month. Today was Raphael Saadiq. You should check him out, if you get the chance. He is awesome. . . Reminds me of Gary Clark Jr., if you know who he is.

Break Dance

I went with another intern to the Hip Hop Theater Fest in DC for the break dance competition last week. Ten minutes into the competition, the fire alarm went off and we all had to leave the building. Thankfully many crews took to the parking lot.
